Face Coverings When Attending the Surgery

The government are asking healthcare establishments to ensure that both staff and visitors are helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with the use of face coverings. This is to prevent the virus being spread by individuals who may be infectious but do not have any symptoms.

In line with these requirements we respectfully ask patients to ensure that they use their own face covering when entering and while inside the surgery premises. This does not need to be a surgical mask; for example, a simple scarf or washable, homemade mask will suffice.

Staff are also following the guidance laid out for them.

Please ensure that you bring your face covering to the surgery and are wearing it before you enter.

Due to pressures on resources we cannot provide masks for patients at this time.
