Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

The practice was inspected in November 2019 and was given the rating overall of “requires improvement”.

We would like to assure patients that overall the inspection went very well. The rating has been given based on patient feedback in the national survey and Quality and Outcomes Framework Data (March 2019). This is in spite of evidence that we are showing better results this year which has been noted by the CQC.

The practice is taking steps to request a rating review through the CQC. We are hoping that the work we have done will be taken into account and that we can be recognised as a good practice as demonstrated to the inspectors on the day. The Local Medical Committee is giving us their full support through the process.

If you have any questions please email for the attention of Sara Harvey or leave a message with reception.

Our latest inspection results are now freely available on the CQC Website.  You can access the report below.
