Welcome to The Millwood Partnership
Millwood and Falkland Surgeries are now merged and operating as The Millwood Partnership. Please see our about page for more information.
Are you a carer
Please make sure that we know that you are a carer so that we can ensure you have access to help and advice. It is helpful to know if the person you are caring for is also a patient at the practice.
Additionally if you have been a carer and are no longer, please tell reception.
You can now see a Health and Wellbeing Support Worker
If you are feeling low in mood and want someone to talk to you can see a Health and Wellbeing Support Worker based at either Shrublands, Sussex Road or Hopton Surgery without waiting to see the doctor first - please ask reception for information.
See our useful links page to see our booklet with information and links for mental health services and organisations in the area.
Living Well - making sure you know where to go
Do you need help with getting out, making friends, or with non-medical issues such as housing or money? Please ask reception to make you an appointment with the Living Well Connector who can help you find services and help.
Electronic Prescription Service
EPS can save you time and travel - please see our repeat prescriptions page for information.
Free health apps - advice and information at a touch
There are a variety of free health apps available for most smart phone platforms - please see our health app page for links.
Heard of an app that we haven't? Let us know on our feedback page.
Collection of paper prescriptions
You can now only collect your paper repeat prescriptions from Millwood Surgery, Mill Lane, Bradwell.
The doctors have discussed and agreed this as patients and staff are experiencing confusion and delays when prescriptions are being prepared ready for collection at the “wrong” site.
We understand that this may prove difficult for some patients and therefore would like to strongly recommend that all patients with regular prescriptions sign up to the Electronic Prescription Service. This will allow us to send your prescription directly to a pharmacy of your choice. This can be the same pharmacy all the time or can be changed if needed by speaking with reception or the pharmacy. We can even then send your prescriptions to other parts of the country, for example if you are on holiday or working away from home. Please see Electronic Prescription Service below.
Some medicines, e.g. some medicines for pain, previously could not be sent electronically. There has been an update in law that now allows these drugs to be sent via the Electronic Prescription Service.
